My earlier article on ‘Human Evolution’Due to the morphological and anatomical similarities between the apes and humans, scientists believed that the great apes were the closest biological relatives of human beings http://timesofindia.speakingtree.in/public/spiritual-slideshow/seekers/science-of-spirituality/human-evolution-243946/60992 dated 11 nov2013 the process of evolution in humans continues even now.
It is taking place in a slow pace, thats why we are not able to notice the evolutionary changes. According to Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium’, changes which take place due to evolution are a mathematical necessity. These changes may get interrupted or influenced only by mutations, natural selection, gene flow, or non-random mating.
Humans just like any other species are subject to the forces of Nature and are still evolving physically and biologically too.
Cultivation: Cultivation was a major aspect in evolving mankind. Their social life, physical labour and intellect developed largely. The surplus food produced from agriculture secured a stable life from nomadic life and…

Good knowledge imparted. Evolution always would have two ends and not all are heading the right way in my perception.

I am sorry, after writing a leangthy thoughtful reply, while entered to post, it did not take place due to net problem & then got deleted. now i have no patience to re- write it again. However, i was agree with your statement of evolution as it is a law of Nature and humankind is part of it.. It is also being said that the height of humans are getting lesser like the size of brain as u mentioned & that is why our science of 21st century still have no answer to many queries an we still look into our thoudands of years old scriptures conceptualised by Munis & Rishis of their fantastic wisdom, was it due to their bigger size of brain & thought power…not untrure…as it is a fact that now also bigger sized brain humans are found to be intelligent..but I am not sure about your blue eyes…! Thanks. It has again become more lengthy even more that the earlier one, now let me post it.

Prajakta,
Evolution of the species has spiritual implications too. A paragraph from my ebook:
We all, in and of ourselves, are apparently just one of the many. In spiritual knowing, or gnosis, each one is inside every self, integral to the One. In devolution, which some may call creationism, the One had become the many. During evolution, the many are currently moving towards the One. For true mystics, the One was, the many are and the One again will be – in space and time – and always is in eternity.

Yes Ron in our Scriptures too we have been told The One had become the Many “Ekoham Bahusyami”
and after evolution we are again moving towards One …( Adwait). Thanks for sharing your Ebook .

Evolution and anti-evolution takes place simultaneously.
It is like the rise and fall of waves.
Therefore the theory of evolution is wrong.
The scriptures prove this to us.
Thanaks.

When i say that the theory is wrong, i mean to say that it is Incomplete . The other side of the coin is not shown to us by Darwin etc.

Very nice one! I loved reading it! What is crucial is that we put our evolution and advancement to preservative efforts and nurturing activities rather than going the angry, destructive and vindictive way.
